To Kill a Royal

Blood flys from the guard as he falls dead onto the ground. All the archers continue to fire as another swordman runs at Raethorn and slashes at him. Dealing 30 damage to him.

Raethorn, covered in sword gashes and filled with arrows, falls over in the courtyard barely alive. He falls with a smile on his face.

The guards take the man down underneath the palace to their torture chambers. He awakens several hours later. A women stands in front of Raethorn holding a whip "You! Wake up! Why did you kill my husband!!!"

Raethorn awakens to a woman's shouting. Seeing the situation he is in, he can't help but smile. After a moment, he responds to the woman.

That was your husband? How lucky for you, to be married to someone so capable of killing. His only failing was fighting me. However, I am still grateful to him for giving me a wonderful fight.

The veins in the women's head pop out as she readies her whip. "What are you doing in attacking this castle!!!"

Raethorn, amused by this question, responds like so.

Fighting the guards, of course.

The women screams in hatred. A person standing behind Raethron heals him for 20 points of damage. Then the women whips him for 6 damage. "Why were you killing guards!"

The whip elicits a cry of pleasure from Raethorn. He then chuckles softly.

Why else, because I wanted to kill guards. Anything else was just an excuse for that desire.

The women screams with anger and whips Raethorn again. Dealing 6 damage to him. "I will kill you!"

Raethorn is overcome by pain and pleasure and falls unconscious.

The women walks up to Raethorn and slaps him waking him up. Raethorn stabilizes.

Raethorn wakes up, seeing he is still chained, speaks up.

Oh, are you going to continue? I hope so, I'm not fully satisfied yet.

The women screams in frustration and puts on her gauntlets dropping the whip then punches Raethorn across the face. Dealing 4 damage to him.

Raethorn spits blood onto the ground after being punched.

Ah, thank you very much. I haven't been tortured in so long, I had almost forgotten its wonder. As a show of gratitude, I will answer your questions.

Raethorn gives a slight smile.

My previous answer was not entirely true. While I did come here with the intention of fighting the guards, I also came because I was hired by some pitiful looking fellow to kill the king's cousin.

"You are a heartless man, may you rot in prison for the rest of your life!" They take off Raethorns chains and drag him out of the torture chamber and down a long hallway full of different prison cells until they come across an empty one. "Home, sweet home! I hope you die in it." They throw Raethorn in and close the door locking it. Then they walk away.

Raethorn sits in a clean looking spot in the cell and smiles to himself as he drifts to sleep.

Raethron heals 6 points while he sleeps. He wakes up the next morning to find a small plate of food outside the bars of his cell.

Raethorn grabs the plate and consumes the food. He proceeds to workout to the best of his ability for a little while.

The guards that walk by the cell on patrols make fun of Raethorn for working out since he'll just die old and alone in his cell.

Raethorn doesn't respond to the guards, and after completing his workout, he finds a comfortable spot and goes to sleep.

Raethron heals another 6 points of health. But when he wakes up the next day there is no food.
