Reinforcements

Lilly sees the men arrives after a few days she heads towards the caption's tent there  he was talking to one of the men from reinforcements that have come in the middle of the tent was a map of winter fall and a few marking that looked like human camp sites."Caption sorry to intrude but whats the next step"

The captain looks up at Lilly. The Orcs have all retreated into a single area of the city where a couple buildings are giving them shelter. We will surround this area and bombard it with the catapults that our reinforcements were kind enough to bring us." Out side men cheer as the artillery is rolled through the camp.

Lilly nodes she then turns around to see some catapults pass by the tent."Listen they may be brutes but we cant simply slaughter then till there are none left. I will help but if don't need to kill them, then we wont. Please understand." Lilly turns back to the caption.

The captain puts his hand on Lilly's shoulder. "I understand, this is war. A place for soliders not Paladins. May Pelor be with you." He walks outside and joins up with the other troops. "Now listen up, We are attacking at noon so prepare for Battle!!!"

Lilly followed out side. "What happened to the undead that were in the city, how are the orcs staying there with out any trouble from them."

"They retreat underground during the day, guess the undead can't stand the light of Pelor." The army moves into a battle position. "Begin March!" All the troops move as one outside the camp leaving only the defensive units behind them. Swordsmen take the front, spear men behind them, archers behind them and catapults in the back.

As the troops move out she turns to the caption "Where do you want me."

The captain smiles. "Were ever you want, you are a swords women though. They are in the front lines. But you arn't a solider you can rush the Orcs if you want!" The captain takes his sword and steps onto a one person carriage built for battle and the horses take off.

Lilly heads to the front of the line with the rest of the swordsmen.

As you approach the outpost men begin to run faster and charge in the sky chunks of rock begin to fly toward you. Archers fire arrows at the outpost and your catapults fire at the Orcs.

Lilly lifts up her shield and deflects all the arrows that hit it as she runs forward. Orcs begin to pour out of the flaming outpost. Most getting cut down by arrows as they leave but many still pour out. One runs at Lilly with his Falchion raised high.


Roll initiative:

Lilly adjusts her shield properly to fight the orc coming towards he she keeps low to cover her body better with the shield as she has her sword to the side ready to attack.
