Carthyra exits the gate on her way to Winterfall.

As you walk around in the forest a small goblin appears and rages at Carthyra and charges at her.

Carthyra is still jumpy from the last fight and reacts quickly to the goblin's appearance. Her fear instincts lead her to throw the first potion she can get her hands on, acid flask.

As the asid flask lands it hits the goblin square in the head melting it off insistently.

Carthyra's heart slows to a normal rate a few seconds after the goblin melts. She is amazed at the speed with which she reacted to the threat and the accurate placement of her potion. It didn't seem like clumsy Carthyra to be that conscientious and aware of herself. She gains a respectful appreciation for the powerful enchantments on her new gloves and armor. As the adrenaline is passing out of her bloodstream, she remember's Master's lesson. She was ready to face evil, and it didn't surprise or overcome her.

She checks the body of the goblin to see if it had taken anything from anybody else. Then she continues on her journey.

Carthyra finds 50 gold and a stick. As you continue on your way a few more goblins come out raging and charging Carthyra.

Carthyra jumps at the sight of the aggressors, but instinctively grabs another acid flask to throw. She feels the difference in her body of the armor's magic augmenting her performance. Strangely, after assessing the threat, she is less afraid.

The acid flask hit but barlly did anything to the goblin they both charged Carthyra.

one of the goblins horribly misses but the other manages to get a good hit in the chest area.

The strike hits her in the same place that the spider had scratched her. She screams while the pain breaks her mental barrier and fear grips her again. She jumps back 5 feet, clutches an alchemist fire, and throws it wildly at the one that hit her.
