And this is all thank to a brave young lady an alchemist named Carthyra." As he says this a spot light apperes on both you and Vincent and the king continues with his speech. "his young lady managed to bring us the potion to win this war even though. the orcs and undead will be stopped we can not stop are Brethren from killing each other. we can stop the onslaught of the undead, and orcs." The king begins to clap his hands. And all the other guests begin to clap. Vincent Looks at Carthyra with a smile "Remember everyone here is to great you and to honor you."

Carthyra goes for the turkey although the ham smelled wonderful. After the king's speech, Carthyra has the sense to stand up. Vincent's words give her comfort. At least she would have the benefit of the doubt in their minds to make a good first impression.

The king smiles "The land was tainted, with what we have come to discover magical power from a very powerful necromancer." the king continues with his speech for a good 30 min. as he finishes. A little girl with a staff comes up to him out of no where. She had short snow white hair with bright ruby red eyes. she was wearing a red and white mage outfit. In a innocent voice "My master wouldn't like that, if you where to give me that potion now, I will let you and all participating in this party live. " The king laughs "Whos child is this, its cute to play dress up but it's not nice to threaten your own king, or kingdom." The little girls eyes brighten "So be it." The points her staff in the middle of the banquet hall. as she dose is a dimensional door opens letting through a horde of barbarians. "You have brought this upon yourself, now give me the potion or this kingdom will be missing a king. " Guards rush down to the banquet hall. and start to fight off the barbarians one of the guards yells o the guests "Everyone to the exit. Now!" He then runs forward to fight off the barbarians. A guard from the second floor calls over to Vincent "Vincent! Catch!" The guard tosses a elven Double-bow and a quiver bag full of arrows. Vincent catches both of them and quickly puts the quiver bag on his back Vincent looks at Carthyra "Cats out of the bag now. I suggest you run. we'll hold them back" he pulls some arrows out and fires at the barbarians

Carthyra has a bad feeling about the little girl talking to the king. Red eyes are never a good thing. Her hand fishes in her belt pouch for her potions of shocking grasp. She wishes that she had left her dexterity gloves on for the banquet as she holds the potion in her bare hand. She is surprised that she feels completely prepared to fight. As she is reflecting on how she's changed since setting out on this quest, a portal opens and barbarians start pouring out. Vincent starts firing a bow and tells her to run. "What? I'm not leaving, are you crazy?" She drinks a potion of Mage armor. (AC=21)

A few barbarians begin to charge at you and Vincent. The girl looks around before firing a Large scorching ray in a group of civilians. "Now will you tell me where your keeping it." the king hesitates "It's in the vault underneath us. take the stairs in the back." the king points to a stair case right behind the banquet hall. The girl begins to walk towards the stair case.
